ORF Radio Kaernten

ORF Radio Kärnten is the regional radio programme of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) from the state studio in Klagenfurt, providing the entire state of Carinthia with news, information and entertainment. The programme is firmly rooted in everyday regional life and explores historical backgrounds, local personalities and geographical features such as Wolfsberg Castle or the history of Protestantism in magazines such as Kennst du Kärnten.

In addition to regional reporting, the station’s profile places a strong emphasis on nature and environmental topics, which are thoroughly explored in series such as Erlebnis Natur. Sport is also a fixed part of the programme, particularly the live broadcasts of all home and away games of the ice hockey clubs EC VSV and EC KAC as part of the Carinthian ice hockey magazine.
