ORF Radio Vorarlberg

ORF Radio Vorarlberg is the regional programme of public broadcasting for Austria’s westernmost state. The broadcast area covers the entire region of Vorarlberg, where the station is firmly rooted in local affairs and informs listeners firsthand.

Alongside current pop music, the programme places a strong emphasis on regional news and service content. In shows such as Guten Morgen Vorarlberg or the Frühstücksdate, the editorial team picks up on topics from the local communities – from reports on local construction projects to practical segments such as the weekly Gartentipp featuring experts from the Chamber of Agriculture.

The daily format is complemented by more in-depth spoken-word programmes such as the magazine Focus. Here, experts regularly speak to shed light on social, psychological, or philosophical questions and to provide listeners with well-founded insights into complex topics.
