ORF Radio Slovenski

As a Slovenian-language radio programme of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation, ORF Radio Slovenski primarily targets the Slovenian ethnic community in Carinthia and the surrounding regions. The content-rich editorial programme is produced at the ORF regional studio in Carinthia in Klagenfurt. The content focus is consistently on up-to-date daily news, cultural reports, historical background, as well as in-depth interviews and discussion programmes that depict in detail the social, political and religious life of the Slovenian minority.

The programme is broadcast via terrestrial FM frequencies in the southern Carinthian area as well as via digital infrastructures such as DAB+ and the audio service ORF Sound, where programmes can also be accessed on demand at a later time. Through this accessible distribution, the station ensures local linguistic and cultural provision, promotes cross-border dialogue in the Alpine-Adriatic region and provides an indispensable platform for informative exchange in the Slovenian language.
